Characteristics of Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings

Thrust tapered roller bearings can form a very compact axial bearing configuration, which can withstand heavy axial loads, is insensitive to impact loads, and has good rigidity. FV produces unidirectional thrust tapered roller bearings and bidirectional thrust tapered roller bearings. The screw fixed bearing forms a specially designed unidirectional tapered roller thrust bearing and is filled with rollers.

This kind of bearing is used for screw fixed bearing configuration of rolling mill. FV thrust tapered roller bearings have logarithmic contact lines between raceway and roller to ensure optimal stress distribution in the bearings, thus extending bearing life.

Because the rolling body of thrust tapered roller bearing is tapered roller, the rolling busbar and the raceway busbar of the gasket converge at a certain point on the axis line of the bearing structurally, the rolling surface can form pure rolling and the ultimate speed is higher than that of thrust cylindrical roller bearing.

Due to the small production of thrust tapered roller bearings, most of the models produced by various factories are non-standard external dimensions, while the series of standard external dimensions are less produced, so there is no national standard for the external dimensions of this kind of bearings.
