Single-direction thrust ball bearing is a special kind of thrust ball bearing. It is suitable for mechanical parts that only bear one-way axial load, such as chain saws, die-casting machines, etc.
Single-direction thrust ball bearing is a special kind of thrust ball bearing. It is a single-row thrust ball bearing, usually consisting of a shaft ring, a seat ring, a steel ball cage assembly, and steel balls. It is suitable for mechanical parts that only bear one-way axial load, such as chain saws, die-casting machines, etc.

Features of Single-direction thrust ball bearings
Single-direction thrust ball bearings have the following characteristics:
Separable type: The Single-direction thrust ball bearing is separable, meaning its shaft ring, seat ring, and steel ball-cage assembly can be installed separately, which is convenient for installation and maintenance.
Bearing one-way axial load: Single-direction thrust ball bearings can bear one axial load, making it suitable for mechanical parts that only need one.
One-way axial positioning: Single-direction thrust ball bearings can also be used for one-way axial positioning, which makes it possible to keep mechanical parts in the correct position.
Cannot bear any radial load: However, one-way thrust ball bearings cannot bear any radial load, which means that they cannot be used for mechanical parts subjected to radial loads.
The structure of the Single-direction thrust ball bearing
The Single-direction thrust ball bearing structure includes a shaft ring, a seat ring, a steel ball, and a cage assembly. Shaft rings, and races are ferrules, one-piece construction that fits into shaft and housing bores. The steel ball and cage assembly is an assembly, and the steel balls are evenly distributed on the inner circle of the ferrule through the cage to form a rotating body.
One side of the seat ring of the Single-direction thrust ball bearing is a spherical surface, which cooperates with the flat thrust washer and bears the load along the axial direction, realizing the function of one-way axial positioning and load bearing.
FV's Thrust Ball Bearings are available in two designs: single direction and double direction. The single direction design comprises two rings, referred to as shaft and housing washers and a single ball and cage assembly. The double direction design, on the other hand, comprises three washers and two ball and cage assemblies. The ball and cage assemblies of the double direction type are separated by the shaft washer.

Application of Single-direction thrust ball bearings
Single-direction thrust ball bearing is a kind of spherical rolling bearing capable of bearing axial load and is widely used.
Used in mechanical equipment that needs to withstand high loads, such as water pumps, fans, etc.
